The Workshop

The place where my stone works are created

Where?

In France, in the Centre region, in Orléans.

Originally from Sologne, I travelled around France for several years before finally returning here to settle down and start my family.

The hewn stone

The stone is a gift from God.

We must respect it.

It is important for me to showcase this noble material that has been in the ground for centuries, waiting to be extracted.

Once in my hands, I humbly shape it to give it a form that I hope will endure through the centuries.

Reconstituted stone

As an advocate for natural stone, I was not in favor of it initially.

However, on the advice of a friend, I made the decision to make copies of certain works, in order to duplicate them in reconstituted stone, made from my stone dust.

Indeed, this topic stems from a reflection on the reprocessing of my pruning waste (dust and rubble). I always try to keep as many offcuts as possible, so they can be used in future projects.

Dust is more difficult to remove.

Here is the simplest and most economical solution.
